• EMP (European Management Programme) -MBA at three graduate schools (trilingual): Deusto University in Spain, Audencia Nantes in France, and Bradford University School of Management in the UK.
• PhD in Economics with the highest honors (Sobresaliente cum laude) from Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain.
Work history:
• Executive promoter for the International Promotion Department of the Mexican National Bank of Foreign Trade (where he was involved in activities such as attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) to Mexico, mainly in the automotive industry), and as a researcher at the Institute of Asian Studies at the Universidad of Valladolid in Spain, he joined Sumitomo Corporation Research Institute (now Sumitomo Corporation Global Research) in 2007.
• As an analyst, he has been involved in analyzing macroeconomic and political trends and country risk in regions such as Europe, Africa, Latin America, and China.
• In March 2014, he was seconded to Sumitomo Corporation Europe (London) as a senior analyst, and in April 2020, he became the head of the Business Intelligence Department.
• He supported senior management and business departments in the EMEA-CIS region while building external networks with governments, chambers of commerce, industry associations, and think tanks in the region and contributing to the organization and development of Sumitomo Corporation's intelligence functions not only in Europe but also in the Middle East and Africa.

• In 2009, he was seconded to TAC, a French consulting firm specializing in country risk, where he learned the company's country risk analysis methods.
• In 2013, he was seconded to the Institute of Japanese Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), as a visiting researcher (engaged in research on Japan-China relations and China's urbanization policy).
